yeah noob question i know...

Just got Battlefield 2 Deluxe Edition. What do i need to download to patch it? thanks

Nothing, just google and download patch 1.4 I think is the latest one.

See i downloaded a patch which said it was 1.4 from the website and installed in several times and COULD not get it to work! So if someone could link me to the correct patch that would be great thanks

I dl'ed the patch and i installed it ( took about 10 mins), restarted and nothing had changed.

What do you mean nothing has changed? Did you try playing? It still tells you you need to update?

Newest patch for BF2 currently out is 1.41

And what do you mean nothing had changed? Like the version number in the corner of BF2 didn't change?

Yes, the version number never changed and i still cant play online.

And the error that it gave you is?

Maybe "This serial code is already in use" ?

You need to give alot more info before anyone can help you.

Do you go to the doctor and say "My head hurts" and expect him to automagicly figure out the problem?
