"Hot Hardware Claims OCZ Platinum PC2-6400 Built For Speed

Excerpt: “Ultimately, the highest bus speed we could hit was 227MHz, which helped the OCZ Platinum series move from 800MHz to 908MHz, a gain of 108MHz or 11.8%.”"

"227FSB"?

What is the differnece between the 227Mhz of this DDR2-800 and the DDR400 RAM I have in another computer whichg will run stable at 288FSB (its guaranteed to 266) -with OCZ EL4200. I know the newer cpus are 1066 and 1333 vs 800, but I thought good PC2-6400 would FSB overclock about 35% higher than stock to 450MHz (35% more than 333 is 450).

Whats up? Is DDR2-800 twice as fast as DDR400, or is it just with the ability to cope with the cpu's FSB, if there is such a thing - whats the diff?
