Tripple channel memory???

Is DDR 3 like tripple channel memory?

Is there an MB that has just 3 slots for RAM and has tripple channel memory options...

I dont need 4 Gb of RAM but 3 would be good...

I've never heard of triple channel memory.

The 3 is just...like a revision of the memory.

Didn't they have dual channel DDR?

triple channel memory controllers do exist, its just they are being tested by intel right now and arent even close to production.

DDR3 is not triple channel memory. It is the 3rd specification revision of DDR memory.

Yup. Like DDR1 and DDR2, it is dual channel. The difference is DDR2 is faster and runs at a lower voltage, I think DDR3 is going to continue that trend.

Memory speed overcomes memory timings at a certain point. DDR3 will surpass DDR2 as DDR2 surpassed DDR1. Not sure what you mean by that statement.
