I've got a 12X8X32 and even though it's not the same thing as you have coming, I can say that it's a very reliable burner as far as the manufacturer is concerned.

I'm more than happy with my Acer.

Acer is pretty good..

Although I would just get the Plextor 12x Burn Proof because thats basically all you need and the 24x won't shave that much off.

Cannot say anything about Acer burners, but I've never had any problems with my Plextor 12x. Get yourself one of those :)

yeah plextors are always on the top of the charts with reviews i read. those and TDK's. i bought this because it was cheap, and it was burn proof. i really wasn't looking at the 20x but it was a good deal nevertheless. thanks for the input
