I don't know what you are expecting from a new chipset. 1-2% across the board performance increase is pretty good. That was just a comparison review and not an all out review. It was noted that higher OC's where attained over a P35 and with lower voltages. That is where the X38 was supposed to excel in the first place. It wasn't designed to be a super high performing chipset at stock speeds like the 975X is. I think I'll be upgrading sooner than I thought to the X38 and DDR3 memory. It's a smoking chipset and I expect to see some insain OC's on it.
