EAX, EAX Advanced and their affects on Games!!!

The Audigy has EAX Advanced and I was wondering how games would be affected by it. How different is it from normal EAX? Why should I buy an Audigy when I can just get a Hercules Game Theater XP? Won't EAX do the same thing?

I don't know about advanced EAX. (or at least I can't tell the differance) I just bought an audigy about a month ago and thus far I'm quite UNimpressed. I can't tell any differance in games, the drivers for 2k/XP suck just ast bad as they did for the live, and the increased sound quality simply isn't there. Add in the fact that their 96Khz sample/24bit processing doesn't work with any professional audio apps, and I'd say just go for the Hercules.
