Is it easier to install the RAM and CPU on the motherboard before or after?

And how should I apply the thermal paste for my quad core?

:)

Before and after what? Installing it into the case?

Install RAM once the mb is installed in the case.

When to install the CPU cooler is up to you. I have a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme, and I know that it would be impossible for me to install it with the motherboard installed.

If you are running on the stock heatsink, you should be able to install it with the motherboard installed.

Thanks for the reply.

And I know I've seen it here before. But what's the best way to apply the thermal paste for a quad core with stock heatsink?

Sorry about that, I forgot to answer that :p

I would have to say, do it like on AS5's website. A thin line across the center of the cpu.
