I just read about this on SD. I have been doing some research on GPS units and this looked like a good one till I read that the mapping software isn't the best and that one of the reviewers couldn't find some addresses. Can anyone confirm or deny this claim?

Anyway, the deal is at Toys-R-Us (in-store only) and it is 200 with a 20% discount taken off at the register, plus you can ask for a "Are you smarter than a 5th grader" question. If you get that right then you get an additional 10% off, bringing the price down to 144.

I have a TomTom, not sure of the model number, but I love it. I have had no problem finding any addresses. I found one minor error in a map once that really didn't matter. I find the TomTom indispensible.

Are you serious? If you bring your kid, do you get to cheat off of him/her?

PS- Do they put Jar-Jar next to Tom-Tom at Toys-R-Us? Sorry, I couldn't resist. :D

Course not. Tom tom is Dutch and Jar-Jar's an alien. They'd never get along.
