hard disk problem.

I used to have a raid with vista on my 2 160mb wd hard drive. Well i deleted the raid and went back to xp 64 bit. I was able to get the os on one of the hard disk but i can't seem to acces the other one that was in raid. I can't format it in xp 64. Can anyone give me some help? Thanks.

try downloading wd data lifeguard tools and format it?

If I am understanding correctly do the following as it worked for me before:

Start Windows setup as normal.
Select the unpartioned drive to instal Windows.
Then exit setup before you start installing.
The drive should appear in Windows unformatted so then you can format it.

Have you enabled the drive in Device manager with the new install?
