Hi, i'm about to get a P5k Premium soon and I was looking over the online manual. In the manual it showed that it had an 8 pin power connection called EATX 12V. It says only either connect a 4 pin ATX12V or an 8 pin EPS 12V to it. The power unit I have is a OCZ GamesXStream 750W. It has two 4 pin connections for 2 CPU's and says it's EPS compatible on their web site.

So my question is should I just connect with 4 pin or 8 pins? It does not say in the motherboard manual why I should connect with EPS or not. Is it just there for convience for people who may only have the EPS connection or do I get any benefits from using it?

BTW my CPU is a E6850 just incase it's a case of some cpu's needing more power.

Thanks
Vierz
