I've got a Dell Inspiron 8500 at work that does not display anything on the LCD screen. It will, however, display just fine on a VGA connected CRT. It POSTs, but it has no operating system on it... yet. I've tried the Fn+F8 to switch between the CRT and LCD, but the video still only displays on the CRT.
Any ideas I could try to fix it?
I planned to look at all the connections between the mobo and the screen, and maybe it would be just a matter of pushing in a loose connection. Other than that, I really have no idea what would cause this.
