Firewire thumb drive?

Not sure why you'd want one considering anything modern enough to have firewire would also have USB..

Isnt todays USB faster then Firewire?? Unless you compare it to 800FireWire.

Plus its more practical to have a USB thumbdrive, every one has USB, not many PC's/people have FireWire.

Firewire is a superior transfer protocol (exactly why DV uses Firewire and not USB, and how USB Audio Interfaces are very limited when comapred to Firewire Audio Interfaces to name a few examples), but for a thumb drive, there is really no benefit IMO (and the other points are also valid IMO)

I also believe that firewire doesn't carry a voltage, as in it is strictly data transfer and wouldn't provide enough power to the flash drive to operate it.
