Hey Guys, Well right now i have a E4300 @ 3.4ghz and was wondering if i get a E6600 and say clock it @ 3.4ghz would i notice a bit of a boost from having it, i know it has more cache and more fsb so im just wondering if it's worth getting instead of keeping my e4300 which i love cause it clocks nice :-D

Depends what you need it for. Games, Email, or pure benching.

If you want to brake records, then you go for Quad Core. Other wise E6600 will get the job done just fine.

I recommend getting a 6850, its a G0 and they seem to clock better. And from what i have read, a G0 do clock better. But a E6600,even at 3.2Ghz will get the job done just fine.

thanks for the replys, im going to be getting one from a friend for 120 so i will keep it i guess and sell my e4300, can't wait to get it and test it hope i can get 3.2 ghz or more out of it
