Go to a bank, they will give you a cashiers check, that will do it...

Careful there! What you are sending them is a check that you have already paid for. When your bank gets it back, they will send the money along automatically.

If anything goes wrong with the deal, there is very little you can do about it as the vendor knows they will get their hands on your money just by depositing it in their bank. :(

If you can find what you are buying form somewhere that will accept another form of payment, it might be worth a couple of extra bucks to have a little protection should the deal go south.

At the very least, you should think about getting a debit card from your bank. Online merchants cant tell that you are not using a regular Visa or MasterCard. The downside to that is that you actually have to have the money in the bank in order to use it :D But hey, then you at least have your bank behind you if you need to dispute the charge down the road.

Edit: Failing that, if you are in the U.S. you can get your money order at the post office for considerably less than a bank will charge you for the same thing.:)
