I highly doubt it..

This is not stopping the regular woot.com standard practice, its just adding a source, kinda like wine.woot and tshirt.woot

Well judging by what Yahoo has done to Flicker and most everything else that they have a piece of, welcome to CrapWOOT. Woot will soon be turning down the road to obscurity.

If you get past the Woot PR nonsense as they are about as facetious as possible with everything they say, as their description of this and everything they write is goofy (as usual), one would see that it's just a partnership and not an acquisition at this point.

But with that said, if the partnership is fruitful, it wouldn't surprise me to see Yahoo aquire Woot down the road.

I spent a few reading Yahoo's Press releases, and I'm sure if this was an aquisition, Yahoo would have a press release, since they don't, this is a partnership. In fact, Yahoo didn't so much as say a word to their investors (or anyone), so this is just a partnership

The way I see it, it's a good thing for now, 2 Woots at least a day now, business as usual at Woot.com and another Woot deal at Yahoo Shopping.

My crystal ball says that Woot may be aquired in the future by Yahoo... but not on this day, and I'm pretty sure it will be Yahoo and not Google, in fact it wqouldn't surprise me if there was a contract now dependent on how this Yahoo Woot thing fares.
