corsair 520 or 620

im looking at getting a corsair psu. one of the modular ones. the 520 or 620. you can check my system specs in my sig. the only difference will be that i will be getting either a x1950pro, x1950xt, or the 7950gt. and probably a new sound card. my only other problem is that i can get a seasonic for cheaper. which would u go for? the seasonic i saw was a 520 watt, i do believe. this will prolly be my next purchase, and then i will buy the video card around the psu. thanks for the help. have a good one!

If you check... the seasonic 520watt may be the exact same as the corsair 520watt module. For your needs, the 520HX will be fine. If you have the money, getting the 620watt one will ensure not having to get ANOTHER psu when you want to fully swap platforms.

The seasonic might actually be the exact same PSU, OCZ doesn't make psus.

Well you are right they make psu if making a PSU is putting a sticker on it.
Not that it really matters just open your Corsair when you get it and be surprised by the seasonic signatures inside... :santa:

I have a few of both now,and to make sure you have lots of room to grow,I'd suggest the HX620.

The HX520 would way more then handle what you have now,and any of those cards in SLI + a healthy oc.Unless you really need more then 750+ watts go Corsair.They have a rock solid 5 year warranty and truly excellent customer service to boot.Fast and friendly RMA as well.
