problem with console F@H

how come when i use the console version i cant enter my username and team number? :(
cuz im not getting credit for the wu's when i use the console

Don't know why they changed this.

Open the folder where you placed the F@H excutable. Open the file named "client.cfg" with notepad.

You will then be able to replace the default name and 0 team number entries!

Don't forget to save the file before closing it. Should look like the attached pic. except of course w/ your user name. :D

It is soon to be fixed and it is already out in beta. There is also a switch you can add to a short cut which will allow you too change the config. just check after you change the config in notepad because it can mess with the formatting and not take the change.

You need to fix it as follows, updating your CFG file does not work like it used to follow the following to remedy this.

Go to the shortcut you have for your folding client, I usually put mine in the startup folder so it starts whenever I start my comp. Now right click on the shortcut, go to properties. Within properties you will something that says target, it should look similar to this "C:\Folding\Folding 1\FAH2Console.exe" take that and add -config to the end so it looks like this "C:\Folding\Folding 1\FAH2Console.exe" -config click apply, click ok. Now start it up again and it should ask you for all the above information. I have noticed the new client defaults to Anonymous. Once you have filled out the config process properly change the target line back and you should be all done.
