Additional input appreciated on CPU choices for my new gaming computer. The post started off as a general mobo question but morphed into a "would like advice from many different areas" type of post :)

I would just get a q6600 and oc it, the 1066 and 1333 difference isnt an issue in my eyes or an advantage. q6600 has 9x multi so if you go 400x8 or 9 if your lucky you'll still have 1600 fsb which is pretty easy for mobos these days. Going on that ddr2 800 ram is plenty and you wont even have to OC it unless your a guy that wants to run 500 1:1 for benches.
grab a p35 mobo or wait for x38
2gb for me even in vista is enuff, i dont do anything that requires more ram. I hate vista anyway.

LOL....are you serious?
Yes, I did indeed post the link to the original thread in many different forums.
I dont understand why that would be a problem........
And....a tad childish in the response dont you think?

While we appreciate your zeal and can understand the mistake, it goes against forums etiquette to create more than one thread on the same topic.
Please create a single new thread in "general hardware"; this is where new builds are generally discussed. In the meantime, I've closed all your other new build threads. -- Paul
