Brief summary of my experience with their products.
Mid 2006: Bought Office Star chair from Office Depot. Get home, and a chair arm is broken inside the package. Look at the big piece of paper included that says call them directly if something is broken, don't return to the store. Call them, tell them what is wrong, they offer to ship out the arm part the next day (it was about 4pm when I called) free of charge. Two days later, arm arrives very well packed. Everything is peachy.
Two weeks ago: I roll forward on my chair and the base cracks so I can't sit in it. I have since thrown out all the packaging, reciepts, etc and I forgot who made it. Find a serial number off the bottom of the chair and do a Google search. Link it back to Office Star and email them saying that a piece to my chair broke and asking if I can get a replacement. I also said that I didn't know which model it was but I did give them the number I found on the bottom of the chair. Two days after I send the email, Denise Nieto contacts me asking for my shipping address and for photos of the chair to help identify it. She needed a front view, side view, pictures of the label on the bottom, and a picture of the broken piece. I provide the pictures and my address. Five days later she emails me informing me of what the model number is for my chair and letting me know that the part is being shipped.
Overall, I am very pleased with their customer service. About a year later, without any receipt or identification they identify it for me and ship me a part for free. The only thing that could have been better would be the time frame over emails. Very good experience with this company.
