I am going to build a AMD system with the 1900XP or 2000XP
using the Soyo Dragon Plus 512MB of OCZ 2400.
In OC these chips what should I expect. I can't find anything on the chips from basic OC. I have been with Intel so i don't know how the Multiplier OC works. I have been having to use the FSB to OC everything. Someone help me go to the right path in OC my new chip with the best possible solution.

The 1900 can very alot from 1.7ghz to 2.0ghz.
Cooling is very important to getting these cpu's to very high mhz as well a high vcore voltage.
You would be doing good to get 1.8ghz using air cooling.

The xp 2000's are not out yet so no idea about them.

The xp cpu's are locked so you would have to unlock it to play with multiplier overclocking.

Yeah I was lookn at how to unlock the CPU and was debating on it. Just found out the new 2.2Ghz Northwood is being released early Jan.
Still going with a AMD though.
I think I am going to try and unlock my CPU with the Laquer trick. Is this that complicated?
