P5WD2-Premium Noise

Hi all...

I have an Asus P5WD2 Premium, I recently installed Vista on to it. And now i hear a strange clicking noise randomly. I usually only hear it when I power off PC. But now, I hear when using programs or when its idle.

Never had this problem on XP, only Vista. Brand new install. All drivers updated. BIOS updated.

Could be that you got something in one of your fans, or fan going bad. Worth looking in to it. Could be just coincidence.

Its not a noise that happens all the time. It always does it when you power off the PC. Some device powering off or something?

But now, I hear it occasionally when the computer is up and running. Only on Vista. Have a dual boot with XP incase I had problems with Vista. Kind of like this (-:
