Two weeks with the family would drive me insane. Well maybe it would drive me sane. ;)
I'll get another list together for ya since it'll be 2 weeks. In the meantime we'll hopefully keep working in the faq/info thread to see what we can come up with.
damn i'm on the net too much. i need a break. when i get my dually setup in feburary i'll be on 24-7 testing it with every benchmark known to man.
yup i'm going back to minnesota. chanhassen. just south of the cities.
I found Folding to be a great benchmark. The time it takes to do a frame is a great comparison stat for different machines. Besides, just because you're leaving for a couple of weeks doesn't mean you have to turn your comp off, right? :D

The power bill might be an issue it is with me but I just leave my laptops on overnight, they don't use much power!

Yeah, my bill went up I guess about 25-30$/mo. Something like that. Nowhere near Stanman's bill but it was enough that I considered dual's to be a better investment in the future as opposed to adding more machine. They are more responsive anyway ;)
Just out of curiosity, how much will my electric bill go up if I let my comp run 24\7 and folding. It used to run about 10-12 hours a day.

It depends on where you live. I run 4 comps folding 24/7. The power bill is just not a factor. The monitor shuts off, and that is the major power drain...
look at this article...

Sometimes you guys amaze me at how fast you respond. I just submitted this reply and got an answer right back. I have my monitor set to turn off after 15 mins. I dont think power usage will a big deal till I get the network set up and start running the other 2 comps.
