me and my dad found an old LCD screen he used when he first was designing the notebooks for Texas Instruments

we were thinking about removing two 5 1/4 cover plates from my tower

then installing the LCD

which would display voltage, temps, bus frequency, comp info. ect....

the software will be written in code G, by National Instruments

has anyone ever seen this before or done it?

i know about digi doc and other stuff, but this will be a actual LCD like a Monitor

that could display pics and everything

I've heard of people doing this by modding a cable into a parallel port and running some software written in C++ I think. I think it would be a very cool mod, and if you do it, make sure to take lots of pics!
