While I certainly agree that this is good news for the project, I have to question the accuracy of thier stats. Although I know there are many PS3 owners out there up for the cause, I find it hard to believe that there's 3 times as many folding on PS3 as on PC's. Publicity can do wonders in many respects, but to suddenly increase production to that extent is astounding, and very difficult to believe.

Yeah those numbers are wrong.

PS3 Stats from stanford's website

TeraFlops = 835
Active CPU's = 33659
Total CPU's = 250710

I do not see 600,000 PS3 users here. But one Petaflop is still good news. Imagine if we did have that many PS3 users.
