alright....well i got this card from my friend, and he had some tin coated copper ramsinks on the card....well when he got his gf3, he took off the sinks, but he didnt clean the card...so there is superglue all inside the ramleads plus that type 44 stuff or whatever.....and whenever i turn on the computer, its fuzzy all over, not extremly noticeable, but it gets annoying after a while...i have tried isopropyl alcohol, nail-polish remover, rubbing alcohol....im looking for some pure acetone, but im having some trouble finding it....quite annoying...because i have this great card, yet i dont want to use it because i dont want it to fry..since its not my card..so yea...what can i do to get all this stuff out...and if you please, id like to keep the card as far away from water as possible...please help

The best solution here ,I think , is to take a needle and start scratching that out of your beloved card. Gasolin is too cool for the textolite.

Hope this helps.

I just went through something similiar, (Had to remove arctic Silver Adhesive) what I did was put the card in an anti static bag and put it in the freezer, then I took an Exacto knife and carefully seperated as much as I could and then used acetone to clean it up but I scraped 99% away carefully.

I did put the card in the freezer about 4 times as its slow going but after you couldn't tell there was any adhesive on it.
