Saw it in the paper today. Not many details, just says 25% off all cards and shows a picture of an evga 8600. So if they're price on the 8800GTS is still 299.99, i guess that means you can get one for about 225.

This is possibly a decent deal and I may jump on it.

Here LINK (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/eVGA-e-GeForce-8800-GTS-Video-Card-320P2N811DX/sem/rpsm/oid/175102/catOid/-13043/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do) is a EVGA 8800GTS (320mb) card for $294.99
You can see that it has selected in-store availability (which I believe this deal is in-store only)

So $294.99 -%25 ($73.75) = $221.24

Tax for me is %8.25 so total comes to $239.50

Not bad for no rebate hassles!

Here might be yet another deal!

Here LINK (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/eVGA-GeForce-8600-GTS-256MB-PCI-e-Card-256P2N761DX/sem/rpsm/oid/178868/catOid/-13043/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do) is a EVGA 8600GTS card for $169.99
You can see that it has selected in-store availability (which I believe this deal is in-store only)

So $169.99 -%25 ($42.50) = $127.50

Tax for me is %8.25 so total comes to $138.01

Cheapest price on price grabber was $150 + shipping

yeah I tried looking for the 25% off online real quick and didnt see it, I have printed coupons that were off mail flyers only and they worked at CC.

I am a moron, the add says up to %25. When I went in-store today I got the card and went the checkout, the card rang up as $294.99 apparently the %25 had already been taken, and the discounted price is $294.99.

So I tried to get her to give me the %25 anyway being nice to the cashier, but she was didn't bite. So if anything this is a VERY YMMV deal!

she was so-so, but this is coming from a guy who will be married in 3 months, so you have to take my observations with a grain of salt.

Get one of your parents to open an ING account, slip money in there and they can buy you comp parts with your money and let them be "presents"

:D

This works...

My Grandparents bought my dad new tools all the time every year or two with his money :D One of those life lessons you learn from your old man :)

Yea but if she finds out, I might just turn into one of those "within the first year" divorce statistics!

I dunno about you guys, but when I got married, my wife was well aware of my gaming and PC habits. It was a package deal.

Me too! When I met my fiance, I had the loudest, most hardcore ghetto water cooling rig ever conceived. It also stunk up my apartment with the smell of engine coolant. She knew from the get-go that I was nuthin but trouble...but she fell for me anyway. :) Now, every time I upgrade, she pitches in $$$ because she uses the systems too.
