Burning in disk-at-once used to be fine when I used 98, but now I can only use track-at-once. My computer always freezes at 16%. It's a Plextor 16/10/40, so it couldn't be buffer underruns. Power supply maybe? It wouldn't really make sense, though. Any input is appreciated

Have you tried using different programs to burn? I know that some progs dont like win2k because of the aspi layer issue but there is a get around to that. Also you might want to be sure that dma is enabled for your all your drives that support it.

Is your CD on the same cable as another drive. I haven't had one coaster since I got the Raid Mobo. I have every drive on it's own ribbon cause of the extra 2 connectors. Things slow down this way cause it can only send data in one direction at a time. (ie. down the cable from drive 1 to memory, then back up the same cable to drive 2)

The fix he's refering to can be found on the www.goldenhawk.com webpage. Look for win2k aspi drivers on the downloads page.

The CD-RW is one the same as my DVD-ROM. The HD is on its own right now. Thanks for the link diggrr
