So, looking at you-tube videos and come accross a spirited debate on whether or not the X1950XTX crossfire can beat a single 8800gts 320.

I've been walking around with an ATI inferiority complex for awhile, and dismissed it. Then I realized I never really compared apples to apples. Meaning I was typically comparing my system to someone with a quadcore/8800.

Any opinions on this? Even better, any FACTS about this?

If anyone has an 8800gts, core2duo, asus 975 mobo or equivelant, care for a 3dm06 dual? We would need to keep all variables other than the video card as close to the same as possible.

In short, it can't, but it can get pretty close.

But hey, it's a hell of a lot cheaper, what do you expect?

I can get 2 X1950XTX for a few $ more then a single 640Mb 8800GTS, and dual X1950XTX can beat the 8800GTX by a hair.

It looks like from your sig, it doesn't OC quite as well. The X1950XTX as the gddr4 as well.
