finaly getting adsl!!!!

I cant believe I finaly talked my mom into getting dsl and quiting cable

they say it will take 1-2 week for thim to activate my account though:(

I got the 1.5/128 speed one

what do you think my speeds are going to be if Im 10,000feet away from the hub?

I'd say you'll probly get what you paid for. Im farther than that to my hub and i actually get more than i pay (with tweaking of course) it also depends on the quality of your line, if you live in an old house or apartment building you might not get as much speed as you would like. There are multiple factors when it comes to DSL speeds but i bet you'll get close to 1.5/128. I pay for 960/120 and with some tweaks from www.speedguide.net i got my speeds up to 1008/135, but now with windowsXP i dont have to tweak anymore.
