Yeah I'm downloading it just noticed it too...Almost 3 Gigs better be decent.

Also fit as a fiddle!

Haha! I was watching one of the old pink panther movies and someone in the movie said "Fit as a fiddle!"
that are some pretty heavy requirements(recommended).
Crysis' are way heavier =p

It's so confusing... :( It seems to be getting lots of praise from other people but I cant really enjoy it.

Just some game created in part by one of the founding fathers of PC gaming...thats all.

But its still in the genre with the the most amount of competition. Might flop like all the rest....we'll see.

Hahaha! Man I really hope Crysis holds up to our premature praise. It looks amazing but I'm hearin' bad, baad things about optimization.

I might try this beta out, but I'm currently HOOKED on playing Trackmania.

It plays find on my computer on medium high settings

I have been in the closed beta for a while. I have a level 19 Ranger since last wipe, I am probably going to go Sniper at lvl 30. It plays fine at 1680x1050 high settings with my computer in sig. I am between 35-60 fps.

I have really been enjoying the beta. It takes a little while to get the feel but once you get it and you start taking it to the Bane/Thrax I think you will enjoy it. There are things that could be better character class wise and depth wise but it is immersive and more fun than your standard MMO grindfest. This is action it feels like a FPS but it isnt. And I like the fact that grouping is not a requirement to level up like many MMO games are. YOu dont need to spend 5 hours trying to get a group together before you actually play. So far I am pretty sold.

i got it for 99c at work :D very fun game IMO. The server's going down is annoying but it's necessary.

been tryin this out, so far not impressed, plays to much like a console shooter for my taste.
graphics are decent, story is good, gameplay is ok. ai is laughable so far.
the battle system is weird like it want's to be a real time fps style battle system but can't quite escape that turn based feel.
the rpg element is nice, was hoping to see a nice fpsrpg, like planetside meets anarchy online, but this game aint it.
although it kind of has a fps feel the targeting and ai throw it off.
gonna keep playing for awhile see if it gets better.

ahh... crysis. yet another FPS. /yawn

it's an amazing game, for 10 minutes. once I get past the spectacular graphics and fantastic physics its... wait for it... just another FPS.

can't wait for the fanboys/girls' reaction to that comment :\

Well only two FPS have held my interest, HL series and Farcry. So for me crysis game has chance to more than just another FPS.

EDIT: my TR beta key ran out and I don't plan on getting the game.

Downloaded it, played it to lvl 15, uninstalled it.

I dont think Tabula Rasa will take off to tell you the truth. It just doesnt seem very steamlined and feels clunky. But that's IMO.

Watch that review it kind of sums up the game. The game tries to appeal to both the RPG and FPS crowd, and leaves neither satisfied.
Frankly, for all the praise that the Richard Garriot guys gets, this game is not that awesome or innovative.
