Its the best PSU I have ever owned.
quiet, small, runs cool, cables are awesome.

I have the 520 version, the 620 is even better. They are, in fact, incredible, just as Rattle said.

thanks guys .. i think im gonna get it and sell my silverstoneMy same thoughts. I don't care for the volume of my PCP&C 850 as I have had a quiet enviroment for a couple of years now. My 620 arrives tomorrow and my 850 wil join you Silverstone in the Classifieds.

Even the 520hx will be enough. You will love your Corsair PSU! Everyone does!

I'm building a new machine and I purchased the corsair 620 because I read mad reviews about it. So after connecting everything together.....I'm not exactly sure how to power my sata drives. I have only one cable left (out from the power supply) but no adapters or stock cables to connect to both hard drives and dvd drives.

Can you guys help please?
My mobo is Asus p5k premium black pearl

I got mine today but I haven't opened the box yet. I will do that and report back.

OK I am back. Are you saying you did not get any modular cables with SATA power connectors on them? The black Corsair bag in mine included 3 SATA cables. 2 of them have 3 SATA connectors and 1 has 2. The bag also contains 4 PATA cables, 2 pci-E cables, a floppy adapter and a Fan-Only adapter. What did yours come with?

Please bear with me, I'm new to this stuff.... I will try and explain the best I can.
I did see the Sata cables, but none of the cables coming out of the power supply hook up to them. That is....I've spread all the cables from the power supply across the motherboard and only one cable is left, but it cannot connect to the "ports" on the sata cables

The modular SATA power connectors should plug directly into the PSU. There is a special slot for them if I remember correctly. My 620HX is installed right now or I'd take a quick picture and show you.

This is what a SATA power connector looks like:

Satandole666 thanx a lot....the power supply is black and I wasn't working in a well lit area so I couldn't see the connections into the power supply......I was focusing only on the cables leaving.
Thanks again for your input everyone

Must say I still love my 620w
has been much better to me than my OCZ powerstream and Enermax Liberty 620 was .

I dont think you can do better than this psu unless you approach $200 range.

i must admit my 520 powerstream was awesome and powered an overclocked e6600 rig with a overclocked 8800gtx without issue.

Its probably still in service after over 2 years I just cant rememeber who I sold it to lo.

I'm considering picking up one of these for my upcoming HTPC. Hopefully the modular cables will help with airflow
