Virus keeps changing my registry

Hello, Babster and others from EZboards recomended this forum for its knowledge. My problem is that JS.Exception.Exploit virus keeps changing my registry homepage everytime i rebot or relog into windows. NAV scans show that the virus isn't present anymore, so im assuming some files must be left on my harddrive. Im running windows 2000. How do i stop my registry from being changed evertime i reboot/relog?

Reformat. That or try to look for a patch or something on symantec's website. It could also be the website your homepage is being changed to . Everytime I went there, my Homepage would change. Once I stopped going there, everything was ok again
