The interview was held last night (Wednesday the 26th) at 8pm, and was a roaring success!

Thanks to ChasR, Shellnutt22 and Pscout for their participation.

The F@H episode of the OCF Podcast will air on the 13th of October (NOT the 6th as previously planned).

In the meantime, keep an eye out for Episode 3 of the OCF Podcast, airing this Saturday!

Thanks,

Jordan Drake

I really enjoyed participating in the interview. I had more to say, but not the time to say it. It brings home how much FAH has changed since I started. I used to be able to load it on a pen drive and one-click it on to any willing participants machine. Now there are so many clients and things to watch out for it's hard to keep it all straight while verbalizing (an age thing I'm sure).
I now can match a voice to the words when I read Pete's and Steve's posts. Pete's so....... Canadian, not to mention well spoken.:D

Did JD ask Pete the most important question?

How does he spell Canada? C eh A eh N eh A eh D eh A eh.:D (All do respect to Canada and all Canadians)

Man I can't wait to here you folks, the first 2 casts I have really enjoyed.

I had more to say, but not the time to say it.Chasr ...By this do you mean you were only able to list frame times for half of Stanford's Wu's and 40 different RAM timings?:D

I couldn't even get out about how with the latest update to PS3 FAH that advanced WUs varied in points from 60 to 400+ instead of all being about the same. We didn't get close to talking about really tweaking a rig.

Actually... he got to about 3/4 of the frame times... I ran out of recording time on my HD:bday:

All the more reason for an encore down the road...

I must have been talking too much and not listening enuf ( as usual :o ) ... I missed all the canuck references
... and maybe kept Charlie and Steve from spilling all the beans :D

A follow on podcast would be a great idea to drill down a bit deeper into folding. Hopefully we all gave enuf info to garner a few new folders for the team tho and raise some interest in even more.

It was great to actually get to talk to Steve and Charlie even if it was still over the internet ... skype works quite well ... and we should consider it for some of the discussions around BAR etc.

It was too bad Harlam couldn't make it but I was glad Steve was able to join us despite his cooling problem on his main rig :)

I would have been on time to the podcast, but my inapt ability to properly label linux live cd's. Well they are all labeled by distro, distro version, and kernel version...except I never labeled x86 from x86_64..so I kept trying to load a 64bit linux on 32bit K6 processor.

Pete if you thought you talk too much, what about Jordan! He just never shut up with the questions! :p

Some of the longest questions in the history of mankind :D By the time I was sure I understood the question my aging brain was begining to forget it. :D

With me, once my mouth starts I sometimes realize after going off on a tangent or 2 that I have forgotten the question ... I too will blame it on aging brain :D

No one will understand what we're talking about when the edits the recording. Jordan will probably make it seem like he's asking us a bunch of one liners. Hopefully he'll also edit out some of my rambling.

Lol... don't worry... I'm not going to edit that much. If I cut out rambling questions and answers... its only because of time constraints... and I'll make sure people can understand what is being said.

Actually... you guys had it very tight on your answers... my questions got a little long... but it will all turn out great in the end.
