What is a good card to use for capturing the screen while playing a video game. I want something that will have decent quality and a pci card would be preferable. I have looked into a few ATI cards but im not sure of the quality of any of them. If anyone has any suggestions on what card to use, would be very helpful :)

You could use the TVout on the Geforce2MX along with that freeware thing for getting rid of the black boarder. Record it onto digital video tape and then import it back into the computer via firewire.

yes, i thought of that. But isnt there anything that i can use to skip the tv-out step and just record whats on the screen? Ive seen some ATI cards with tv tuners that can record television...is there a way to record from the vid card?

get a card with an s input socket. You can then attach vid cams, vcrs, tvs i think.

Yea, but i dont wanna have to record to tv, and then back to the comp. There are programs like camtasia that record the screen (used for presentations) but i tried it and its not good enough for games. And if you have tv tuner card...most of them record the shows to the hd...no tv needed. There has to be some card that i can use that will record just whats on the screen.....
