like what the title says, does anyone know a good place to buy aluminum sheets?

I would like to have it in alloy 1XXX (x are varibles) would be nice :D

I would check locally first since its likely to be cheaper than online retailers.

theres a HUGE metal supply wearhouse over just past burbank airport maybe 15miles... a long time ago i grabbed a almost plywood size sheet of some aluminum and i have been using it for projects for a long while... only cost like 30 bucks but that was back before gas went skyrocketing... so its probably like 60-80 bucks now.

Or just go to http://www.mcmaster.com/ and search for aluminum alloy 1100 and it will come right up and you can select your sizes.

jezus what do you need freakin 99.6% pure aluminum for... wait let me guess your going to take it, put some what-cha-maggies on it, with some whozen-flaubers, to creaty a do-dad? if so i soooo want one!
