Alright, I think I've been talked out of trying any sort of double bong, what about a square one? Is it possible? Will it work?
This is the system I've used successfully. Used 2 stackable plastic 10l storage containers. Made holes in the short sides at the top and then looped a pipe through so that the pipe made 2 passes (side ways U). Then made small holes in the pipe in the container and draped cloths over the pipes. Also cut panels out of the short sides. Mounted 2 80mm fans in the lid. Cut a hole in the botton to allow the water to drain back into the res.
This system reduced the water temp to between 3C and 1C below ambient depending on Humiture. It loses quite a lot of water by evaporation (2l/day).

again with the taking an idea I was gonna use in my custom case. argh... oh well. I'm kinda new at cooling, but I can't think of any reason the shape would matter.
I used something very similar to that for my first cooling project. Worked well enough. I went to a full height bong later only to get all that I thought I could get. If memory serves me right I got 4-5c on that setup and with the full height I regularly get 7c frequently 10c and once 13c. Temps are below ambient.

Which idea did I get from ya this time Wonko?
Seems like I've been nailing you left and right, here and in mods...
Not my intention though. Good luck with your project

Well there was the double bong, then the square bong. I know you don't mean to, it's just a bit wierd because I was just thinking of it right before I read your post... oh well... great minds think alike.
As far as the project goes, it's still in the early design stage(finding time to work on it is not easy), but thanks.

Yeah, I'm in early development too, but should move into production stages this week. For now I'm gonna do the reg. pvc shorty I think. When I get more $$$ and time I'll start getting into modded stuff.

You may still have a chance to beat me to the punch on all of MY ideas.
