I would add that staying in the top 100 (or even reaching it) is a major achievement this days.

nowaday, there's quite a lots of cruncher w/in the team. it's really not a easy task to stay in the top, not saying moving up...:cool:

however, i really think that IS good for the team overall!! 'cos, w/ all those heavy cruncher out there, it really drives people to work (crunch) harder!! well, at least that's my case.....

I got started doing Seti quite a while back, and thought it was cool, but until I found OC.Com and this team I just didn't get too fired up about it.... the friendly competition is a BIG part of the fun for me!
I also happen to be a big hardware geek, so not much motivation is needed for me to get more pcs going! As an example, last winter I had 2 k6-2 450s and my dual 400 PII- after getting my first Athlon I found THIS place and got hooked on the forums, and the team...........Any excuse for another rig is a good one!!!!

And I needed 'em all here to start: I came in with a bunch of wu, and in the first couple of days lost about 10 spots on the team: You guys have motivated me to crunch more......Lets keep it up- some Team competition is hot on our heels!!!
