Hi,

I'm looking for a socket 370 to socket 370 converter including voltage mod.

my celeron 900 (on abit vh6-t) will post on 1.2ghz. but is not stable.

I can crank up the voltage to 1.825V in the bios but not higher. I think I need about 0.1V extra to get her stable.

soldering on my mobo is not really an option :) are there any socket to socket converters where I can adjust the voltage with jumpers?

regards

brain out.

ehm?

Socket to socket? Never heard of one 'cept the AMD kind. Golden-finger or something that allowed voltage/multiplier mod. There are slot to socket by diff mobo manufactors

Do a search for the wire trick. I never tried it, and i'll not try to explain lt. Although i do remember it in these forums

Good luck

You will need to go to overclockers.com main page and find an article on the wire trick with that SPECIFIC CHIP IF NOT YOU WILL SCREW YOUR CHIP IT HAS TO BE THAT SPECIFIC CORE..

You connect the vid pins together so you can set your default voltage to 1.825v or so.
