Congrats!!!!!:D I was wondering if you could give me an avg of your work times when your computer is being used and not. We have similar systems and was wondering how mine is running.

Thanks

Brad

Congrats! The first hundred is a big deal!!

Note to Cuper: I've got a 1.4 running at 1.6; I average right around 5 hours per WU (just a couple of minutes less). I also have a 1.2 running at 1.4 with averages right around 5 hours also (just a couple of minutes more).

Cool, I am running a 1.33 XP 1500 @ 1402 and am seeing times of a little more than 4.5 hours when not using the compter

Thanks

I think I'm averaging between 4.5 and 5.5 hours/WU. I'm running a 1 gig p3 coppermine and a 1.4 athlon@1.53. I set the athlon back to 1.4 today though because I'm at my parents house and the room with the computer in it manages to get insanely hot. At this very moment, my 1.4 says it'll do 1 WU in 5.32 hours. The p3 says 6.88 hours/WU.

Hey,

It's weird? When the unit starts on its own and I don't do anything with my computer it comes in at around 4.75 hours. If I start doing something it slows to a max of 6 hours. The trick is that if I stop working on my computer it doesn't speed up??????
Has anyone had this prob?

Congrats on the 100th wu!

Hitting the milestones is a good thing, kinda gives ya that warm, fuzzy feelin', don't it?

Crunch on!!!

I've seen the slowdown if I do something on my computer. Depending on what I do, I can add hours to a WU, for example if I play a CPU-intensive game for an hour, it'll add at least that much time to the WU. But I haven't seen the not-speeding-up-again problem once I stop using my machine.

Way to go Krusty! Keep up the good work, thanks for contributing. I keep trying to rebreak my major milestone of hitting under 100 on the rankings but I am going to have to keep plugging along. Just goes to show all the more power to the team we have acquired keep it up guys!

congrats...the first 100 takes the longest

While your using your comp you are still crunching meaning the processor is not crunching at 100% like it does when you dont touch it. Also the AR of the WU makes a difference in time...sometimes even an hour or too. Higher AR=faster
