MSI P35 Platinum

Hello all

Ok i have had it with this MB,CPU,RAM and PSU

So im getting a Q6600 (G0), MSI P35 Platinum, OCZ Platinum DDR2-8000 / 6400
and Zalman 850w PSU

So my question is that on the price list i have the board is listed as a Crossfire board.... will it run SLI?

And if it doesnt why on earth did intel make a board that mostly only supports crossfire (ATI) when ATI is joining AMD??

Ohh and for R1820 (Supplier) its a steal (R7.50 - R8.00 = $1)

you guys in first world countries lucky you get it for cheep.

Don't get the MSI board.

Get:

Abit IP35-E
Asus P5K-E
Gigabyte P35-DS3L

that board, or any other P35 board, will NOT run SLI, sorry but nvidia is very stingy.

So you telling me the P35 Chipset doesnt like SLI?
And if that statement is false then should i rather be looking at the P5K-E Board?

no i am not telling you it doesnt like SLI i am telling you it cant run SLI.

The P5K-E is a very decent board.

Intel = cross fire

Nvidia = SLI

Period.
