Vdroop on a 680i

How much differance does making this simple mod really make? I have not done it yet (ok insert making fun of me here), and just want to know how much of a stability change did you see. I have a vdroop in the ballpark of .06v and with that am finding it difficult to get a q6700 over 3.2 ghz without the mod. I plan on making the change but am new to ocing and was curious how much stability difference it makes.

Most of the time it will basically eliminate it, What Revision board do you got?
