I was wondering if there was anything else I could disable to make for quicker boot speeds.
1: Do I need to have Tweatui start up, or can I just load it when I want to use it when in windows?
2: Why is there 2 power manger's listed? Can u turn 1 of them off? (or is it supposed to be like that?)
3: Is run= something to do with the printer?
I have an HP printer btw

-EM-EXEC is for my optical mouse software

You can definitely get rid of one of the power profile entries. Unless you are running a laptop, you may not need either of them. Yes, tweakui can be run as a stand alone program.

do you have the logitech optical mouse... if you do and its hooked up to the usb you really don't need to have the drivers off the cd installed... works without them and does better as far using the mouse wheel in games (eg. using ctrl-alt-del to end em-exec.exe or the supported registry hack)

I have it in the p2p port, thats y I have the software running, I'm gettin an add-on adapter for more usb ports soon, once I get that I can run it in usb and del the software.

USB makes no difference you can just install the drivers and do not install the software and it will still work fine. I did it to mine and its great. uncheck everything except scan reg system tray and your hmonitor and you may not need your hmon try to disable and then click on the program and see if it works if not then just recheck.

Well, the only thing not mentioned (so far as I've read) is hpfsched. Does anyone know what this is? I got it on mine too, and I'd like to kill yet annother thing off my long list of startup items!

yes its the printer, and as fas as start up items all you need is scan reg and system tray, heres the thing if you find something that is not rite then simply recheck the box but i have never had a problem with power management, techtv has articles on this once i did find an article that said taskmonitor should be left on so that when programs are downloaded it makes it easier for disc defrag to put them in the correct spot but this was just a tip from a user not the staff so i would not put to much into it ive tried both ways and found no difference. i can get my performance to 96% you should be able to too.
