On my athlon the case side is always off & I read about 20-21C.. & cpu temps are about 45C on my Duron the case side is always on and w/ the same mobo, its temps are 28-29C and same CPU temps as the athlon, I was wondering if I make another hole under the CPU duct hole and put a fan in it to just blow cool air into the case, would it lower the mobo & cpu temps or just the mobo or none? what u guys think?

Before mods, make sure you have a good heatsink, and are using some AS2 or AA on your CPU as Thermal Material.

Like u can see from my sig, I have a generic heatsink and already have blowhole w/ a duct to the HSF... I'm wondering if it'll worth it to make another blowhole under the one I already have to cool the mobo and components?

45C is better than I'd expect with the generic hsf. You are doing darn well right now. To lower that may require a different hsf.

However, adding more cooling would not hurt. The vid card must put alot of heat into the cpu area, isn't that the reason for the WTX format? (upside-down ATX [almost])

Is the fan on the side of the case a 120? Might upgrade unless the second fan fits the present look of the case. Either one could help.
