Monitor Image shifts from left to right?

ok, i have a Sony Multiscan E400 (the CRT) and the image on my monitor is adjust perfect to fit the whole screen. Well, over the course of about 5 minutes, the perfect image would shift about 2-5 notches to the left, or right. this is very annoying, any fixes?

i have this exact same monitor as you, i am even on it as i type this :), i have also noticed this problem as well with mine, i get it just the way i want it then all of a sudden it gets knocked out of where i had it just a little bit...i wish i knew the solution to this but i don't believe there is one :(

i know, this is annoying as hell!
