Any idea why the PC locks up while running 3dmark2001 with the Radeon?

most peopel i heard who had similar problems had it fixed with the 7206 drivers...

what is the 7206 drivers I went to the ATI sight and didnt see anything can you tell me where they are?

hmmm...are you running win2k or xp? if so get the 3286 drivers, or even better there are some third party Omega drivers that many people say are better than the ATI drivers..

Im running W2K I just put this card in today I also put a ATI TV wonder PCI card in .I cant figure it out ill try the dirvers I think I have the 3286 already
Still cant get it to run on 3dmark2001 loaded all the drivers I can find . seems to run QuakeIII ok no freeze ups just when I benchmark any more ideas? I uninstalled the tv card just in case it was causing the prob but no change Ever since i installed the card my PC wont restart automatically I have to manually restart after downloads etc. what's the deal?? HELP!!!!!

I know some people on the rage3d.com forums have had this problem. Some people have fixed this by disabling fastwrites in the BIOS. Check the forums there for any problems with ATI cards, there is lots of useful info there.

Fastwrites and in my case 4x.
I think I solved the prob. I uninstalled everything then reintalled.3Dmark2001 Now I get 7909 for a score is that pretty good?Now I just have to figure out why the PC wont restart now.on its own it locks up.This is after I installed the card, I have to manually restart.
