hey hey.

k ive got rtcw now.

works great, other then the fact that my gcard sucks but thats not a prob come xmas:D

the prob is when i start SP mode it shows that (dammit what are they called agian, you know the movie thing) well just a few secs in (about 25ish the sound fizzels out.

got any ideals why? the sound in game works fine MP is fine.
never had this trouble with any other game. so i dont think its a soundcard prob.

you think it could be the settings???

What kind of video card are you running?

I had the same problem with my cheeze diamond s3

Changed to an ati 7500 and it plays nice. Except the program locks up after I die. All the time.

don't die!

might look at the dxdialog.exe and see if slowing the sound a bit solves the problems.

I've had the same problem. Do you have a SoundBlaster Live or a Via chipset like me? From the sound of it, it looks like I'm not alone on this problem.

WEll, the tech support at activision said it has to be a card that does open gl and my s3 just doesn't cut mustard. So, I think maybe once you upgrade to a better card you'll be fine.

As for the program crashing after death on my machine. yes sir. sound blaster live on via chipset.

I'll look at the dxdiag.exe file.

... cheers. hope it works. because i die a lot in this game. aheha.
