win2k wont wake up

anyone have this problem??

i jsut bought a $5 keyboard, and i can shudown, sleep, wakeup, and lock keyboard from the keyboard...

shutdown works ok, lock keyboard works ok, sleep works ok, but wake up wont wake up....

it just stays black

i did a standby from the menu too, but it still stays black...

im pretty sure the wakeup button works, but my system wont wakeup from stand by...

any suggestions?

I also have win2000, and the wake up never works. My comp's power button wakes it up (have to hold it for 3 sec to turn it of). However, the sound stops working

well what is it set for in the bios you may have to hit your powerbutton to get it awake. take a long look in teh bios for the settings.

I haven't messed around with the power managment settings in the bios since i bought my comp. the wake up button worked on Win98 and ME but on on 2K.
