Here is an odd request. I have an IBM monitor with the following info.

Type/Model: 2127 - 001
Serial No: AH - 06999
Part No: 76H6987
Date of Manufacture: April 1998
FRU 02K2360

FCC ID: JVP7276E

Made in Taiwan

Ok, what I'm looking for is the scematics etc.. for the mainboard inside of it so I can find out what 2 small resistors on it are. I smelled smoke the other day and it came out of the back of the monitor. So I quickly shut it down. When I pulled it open, (After I let it sit for a day.) I found that 2 resistors on it had gone. Power surge? I don't know! Now I want to replace them but the cotings on them are what made the smell. And both are to blackened to figure out what type they are.

Any help, sites, replacement info etc would be greatly apreciated.

Thank you!

I'm willing to bet buy a brand new monitor is cheaper and less time consuming than the hassle of sending in to repair..or finding the parts, and doing it yourself. If it is possible.

If I can find out what the single badly burn resistor was I'd be ok, the rest I got done! I've bin trying to find the scimatics <sp?> sofar no luck.

I look!
