I looked under some other threads and it looks like you guys are pumping mad WUage already with individual OC'd boxes. It would be nice if someone could get a lab or office or something.
I sent a request to run F@H on all the more powerful computers at my high school through a teacher I knew. I hope it makes it through so I can get us at least 25 comps folding.
Wow that's great. Hope they give it a shot. :) Nice first post BTW.
It would be good if we had a school or 10 folding for us as it could make a sizable difference in our output. We have a few members trying to get some comps at their school going. Some have succeeded, others haven't. I am continuously amazed at the effort put forth by our members and am impressed at how well we do with our united effort especially considering the fact that most of our it is done on home machines. :D

If Stanford ever gets off their butts and releases a client for mac OS 9.x, I might be able to get 1 or more G4 machines at the office doing a little Folding too. They owe me a favor right now; I saved them about $300 on memory upgrades by getting them Crucial ram instead of letting them buy some Kingston stuff from the guy who sold them their systems. He was charging them $100 for a 256 MB stick.
Once an OS X client comes out, Rugby will have some G4's for us. Adamtekh, those PIII's could really make a difference, try to get them going soon! :D

I'm going to help a friend upgrade the network and the os's on some of the computers where we works tomorrow, so he *might* let me install the client.... he already said no once, but maybe I can change his mind...
btw, he's the network admin there, so it would be ok...
wish me luck :-)
fold on!
Even if you can't get him to agree you should try to get him to do it on his home computer and point him here. That way he could catch the folding bug and decide to do it on his own:D
