my wow folder is growing tooooooo large and i was wondering what files i can delete with out screwing the game up. i notice alot of old updates but i dont know if it'll freak if i delete them.

It stores updates in the original folder, you can delete those.

Time to get a bigger hard drive when you have to start deleting stuff. :)
A 320GB drive isn't terribly expensive. I like the Seagates with perpendicular recording tech on New Egg for like $85.

eh i am fine with 160 gigs if i rember to delete stuff after i burn it and i dont want a lot of junk i dont use sitting on there, just makes more of a fragmented mess.
what is this "perpendicular reccording tech" you speak of?
hath it many improvements.....ths?

Eh I think it's just a term that Seagate coined for use with their faster drives. I'm not sure exactly what it means. I just know it's the better one. :bday:

It fits more data on the drive by instead of writing long ways but up and down on the disk (vertical on the disk plater) instead of horizontal. Surely someone can get the hatachi video on this.
Its ment to pack more on per drive and helps transfer rates as well.
